After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Honeoye Falls-Lima, Wayland-Cohocton was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Whitman Wildcats as they made off with a 19-2 win. Considering the Eagles have won seven matchups by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Alex Fedorchuk, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Orion Walker, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Wayland-Cohocton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Wayland-Cohocton is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.1 runs over those games. As for Whitman, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5-1.
