Soccer Recap: Cass Comes Up Short

Cass was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-0 to the Allatoona Buccaneers. While losing is never fun, Cass can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 374th, while Allatoona are ranked 22nd).

Cass' defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Allatoona, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Cass is set to take on their familiar foe Dalton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Allatoona will face off against rival Cedartown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
