Volleyball Recap: Marietta Comes Up Short

Marietta lost against Walton back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Blue Devils came up short against the Raiders, falling 3-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Blue Devils were not able to get on the board.

While Marietta was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-23, 25-22.

Marietta's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Walton, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Marietta will host Hillgrove at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Walton, they will venture away from home to square off against Cherokee at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
