Carlson waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. Everything went their way against the Belleville Tigers as they made off with a 9-1 victory. Considering the Marauders have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Carlson let Benjamin Peterson and Brady Wilkins run wild. Peterson went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run, while Wilkins went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Those two RBI gave Peterson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brodii Hollobaugh, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Carlson's win bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Belleville, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carlson will welcome Trenton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Belleville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Detroit Country Day at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
