Football Recap: Paraclete Spirits vs. Leuzinger Olympians        
        
		
             If Paraclete was feeling good  off their  42-21 takedown of Garces Memorial last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Paraclete Spirits had to suffer through a   58-13 loss at the hands of the Leuzinger Olympians.
  Adrian Jones and  Savaughn Gentle certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss.  Jones picked up 110 receiving yards and a touchdown, while  Gentle picked up 61 receiving yards and a touchdown. Jones got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and  took off for a gain of 63 yards.
 Paraclete wouldn't let Leuzinger keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Paraclete can thank  Jacob St John and  Jeffrey Patino for forcing both of them. Patino also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing a fumble, making nine total tackles, and defending a pass.
  Journee Tonga was a one-man wrecking crew for Leuzinger as he rushed for 350 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 16.7 yards per carry, and also picked up 42 receiving yards. The dominant performance gave him a new career- in  total yards. Another player making a difference was  Henry Doherty, who picked up 107 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 Paraclete's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Leuzinger,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 2-0.
 Paraclete will square off against Hart at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Leuzinger, they will have plenty of time to enjoy the  victory as they don't play again for a while. They'll take on Loyola at 7:00  p.m.  on September 13th. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given how much these teams ran up and down the field in their prior games.
