Volleyball Recap: Jasmine Rodriguez Key Part of Team Effort in Tigers Win

Spring Woods won the last time they faced Waltrip and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tigers blew past the Rams 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-2, 25-16.

Spring Woods' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jasmine Rodriguez, who had 11 aces and four digs. What's more, Rodriguez posted two assists, the most she's had since September 5th. Another player making a difference was Adriana Castro, who had ten assists and eight aces.

Spring Woods' record is now 17-11. As for Waltrip, they dropped their record down to 6-17 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Spring Woods will take on rival Milby at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Waltrip is set to square off against their familiar foe Sterling at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
