Softball Recap: Oak Hill Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Oak Hill's offense. They fell just short of the St. Albans Red Dragons by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Red Devils were not able to get on the board.

Mary Butcher spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on six hits.

Oak Hill's loss was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-3. As for St. Albans, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Oak Hill didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-2 win against Nitro on the 28th. As for St. Albans, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 5-4 defeat against Wahama on the 28th.
