Soccer Recap: Emerald Comes Up Short

Emerald was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. 2026 welcomed they with a 3-0 loss courtesy of the Antioch Panthers.

Emerald's loss dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Antioch, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Emerald will square off against rival Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Antioch is set to face off against their familiar foe Freedom at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
