Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Somerset). They blew past the McCreary Central Raiders 52-14 on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Briar Jumpers as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Somerset's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for McCreary Central, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Somerset will head out to square off against Hazard at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for McCreary Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Casey County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders will be up against the Rebels' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.56 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
