Basketball Recap: Camas County Wins Going Away Against Castleford

Camas County had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 24-point drubbing they dealt Castleford on Tuesday. The Camas County Mushers put the hurt on the Castleford Wolves with a sharp 63-39 victory. That 24 point margin sets a new team best for the Mushers this season.

Camas County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Clancy Rablin led the charge by going 8-for-14 on his way to 24 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Rablin's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. Quinn Palan was another key player, going 6-for-11 to rack up 15 points and six boards.

The win got Camas County back to even at 9-9. As for Castleford, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-13.

Camas County has already played their next contest, a 59-47 defeat against Carey on the 19th. Castleford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
