Volleyball Game Preview: Legacy Lions vs. Okeechobee Brahmans

The Legacy Lions will face off against the Okeechobee Brahmans at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Legacy took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Sebastian River. The victory was some much needed relief for the Lions as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The win didn't come easy: Sebastian River scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Okeechobee made easy work of Centennial on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Brahmans have posted against the Eagles since September 2, 2021.

Okeechobee was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-20, 25-15.

Okeechobee's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Legacy, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 8-4.
