After a string of four wins, Adrian's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of the Northview Wildcats by a score of 3-2. The Maples were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Adrian sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 19-25, 25-18, 21-25, 15-13.

Adrian's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Northview, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-8 record this season.

Adrian will take on Start at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Northview, they have already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Walled Lake Western on the 19th.
