Volleyball Recap: Carson Takes a Loss

Carson lost against Peninsula two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Colts fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1. The Colts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their offense was headlined by Loreyna Siaki and Korythia Foisia, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Priscilla Alcayaga and her seven assists. Siaki was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Carson's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Peninsula, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Carson and Peninsula will both be playing Saint Joseph the next time they take the court. The Colts will head out to face the Jesters at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
