The Hunt Warriors can finally bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 41-34 victory over Bertie. That 41-34 margin sets a new team best for Hunt this season.

Hunt's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ti'asia Taylor led the charge by scoring 16 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Those 16 points set a new season-high mark for her. Aiyana Harrison was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five steals.

Hunt's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-6. As for Bertie, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Hunt will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Beddingfield at 5:00 p.m. on December 27th.
