Baseball Recap: Warren/Stockton Comes Up Short

If Warren/Stockton was riding high fresh off their 15-4 takedown of Rockford Auburn last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warhawks fell just short of the River Ridge/Scales Mound Wildcats by a score of 6-4 on Tuesday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 14, 2022, but that streak is no more.

With the loss, Warren/Stockton broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-4. As for River Ridge/Scales Mound, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season.

While Warren/Stockton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
