After a string of six wins, Harlingen's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tuloso-Midway Warriors & Cherokees.

Amaris Gomez was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Destiny Delgado was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

Harlingen's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Tuloso-Midway, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4-1.

Harlingen didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Carroll on the 28th. As for Tuloso-Midway, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 11-7 win against Bishop on the 28th.
