Baseball Recap: Perris Comes Up Short

Perris fell victim to Vista del Lago and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vista del Lago Ravens. The Panthers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Perris saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Cooper, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Adan Perez also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Perris' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Vista del Lago, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-2.

While Perris had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
