It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Williamsville had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Carlinville Cavaliers 49-14. The win was nothing new for the Bullets as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Leading Williamsville to victory were Braddock Cates and Mason Johnson. Cates rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns, while Johnson rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown on only five carries. Those 87 rushing yards gave Johnson a new career-high. Jackson Sanders also helped with two touchdowns in total.
Williamsville was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 345 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 165 rushing yards in seven consecutive games.
