Baseball Recap: Lower Moreland Comes Up Short

The Lower Moreland Lions lost 10-3 to the Bensalem Fighting Owls on Saturday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lower Moreland saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eddie Weber, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Lower Moreland's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Bensalem, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lower Moreland will venture away from home to square off against Springfield Township at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Bensalem, they will head out to face off against Harry S. Truman at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Fighting Owls are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
