Softball Recap: Floydada Now 10-1 over Last 11 Games

While Floydada put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Frenship. Floydada blew past Frenship 8-0. The result was nothing new for the Whirlwinds, who have now won 13 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Floydada has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. With the defeat, Frenship broke their 11-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-3.

Looking ahead, Floydada will be playing at home against Clarendon at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Floydada will need to watch out since Clarendon has now posted at least ten runs in their last seven matchups. As for Frenship, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 12-2 win against San Angelo Central on the 25th.
