Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Nora Cook and Mckenzie Webb Lead Mansfield Christian to Victory

Mansfield Christian had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They blew past the Medina Christian Academy Knights 3-0. The Flames have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-13, 25-18.

Leading Mansfield Christian to victory were McKenzie Webb and Nora Cook. Webb had nine digs and four aces, while Cook had nine digs and three aces. Webb is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served three or more in each of the last six games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Mansfield Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in eight consecutive matchups.

Mansfield Christian's record now sits at 10-8. As for Medina Christian Academy, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 11-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mansfield Christian will face off against Crestline at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Medina Christian Academy, they will square off against Christian Community at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
