Basketball Recap: Buffalo Gap Comes Up Short

Buffalo Gap was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Wilson Memorial Green Hornets, falling 75-53. While losing is never fun, the Bison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 318th, while the Green Hornets are ranked 59th).

Buffalo Gap now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Wilson Memorial, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.

Buffalo Gap will square off against Nelson County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Wilson Memorial has already played their next game (against Fort Defiance), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
