Softball Game Preview: West Harrison Hurricanes vs. Long Beach Bearcats

For the second straight game, West Harrison will face off against Long Beach. The Hurricanes will square off against the Bearcats at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (West Harrison has three straight wins, Long Beach has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

West Harrison had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 16-run drubbing they dealt Long Beach on Tuesday. The Hurricanes were the clear victors by an 18-2 margin over the Bearcats. The Hurricanes not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 14th.

West Harrison's victory bumped their record up to 11-16. As for Long Beach, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-15.
