A Season-Best Performance from David Bishop Leads Fort Bend Austin over Fort Bend Clements

David Bishop produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Fort Bend Austin to the win on Friday. Bishop rushed for 144 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also picked up 35 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 95-yard run.

Fort Bend Austin's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3. Bishop and Fort Bend Austin will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Fort Bend Travis at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.

Austin Carlisle's Big Game Leads Ridge Point over Fort Bend Bush

Austin Carlisle's big game helped extend Ridge Point's winning streak to four on Saturday. Carlisle was unstoppable, throwing for 134 yards and two touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes, and also rushing for 68 yards. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 63 yards.
