Baseball Recap: Skyridge Has No Trouble Against Mountain View

Skyridge won the last time they faced Mountain View and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Falcons put the hurt on the Bruins with a sharp 17-4 win. Considering the Falcons have won four matches by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Kason Muhlestein was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Rip Roberts was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 5-for-5.

Skyridge was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .528. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Skyridge is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Mountain View, they moved to 5-4 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Skyridge has already played their next game, a 6-5 win against Wasatch on the 26th. As for Mountain View, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 5-1 loss against Roy on the 26th.
