Basketball Recap: Bakersfield Takes a Loss

Bakersfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 52-38 to the Springfield Catholic Fighting Irish. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 85-66 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bakersfield's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Springfield Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.

Bakersfield will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Dora at 6:00 p.m. on February 4th. As for Springfield Catholic, they will face off against Marshfield at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
