Basketball Game Preview: Chelsea Hornets vs. Spain Park Jaguars

The Chelsea Hornets will take on the Spain Park Jaguars at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Spain Park will be up against a hot Chelsea squad: the team just extended their winning streak to eight. Chelsea was the clear victor by a 66-41 margin over Neshoba Central on Monday.

Meanwhile, Spain Park took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 55-14 win over Center Point. Given the Jaguars' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 191st, while the Eagles are ranked 427th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Spain Park's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-14. As for Chelsea, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Chelsea strolled past Spain Park in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a score of 48-34. Does Chelsea have another victory up their sleeve, or will Spain Park turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
