Basketball Recap: Port Huron Red Hawks vs. L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders        
        
		
             Port Huron won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune  on Wednesday. They were beaten by the L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders 78-51. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Hawks of the  72-56 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in March of 2022.
 Several Red Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Tahsaan Lunn, who  scored seven points in addition to six  rebounds and two  blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jaedyn Carswell, who  went 5 for 8 en route to 13 points plus eight  rebounds.
 Even though they lost, Port Huron  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 13  offensive rebounds. That's the most  offensive rebounds they've posted  since  the start of last season.
 Port Huron's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for L'Anse Creuse North, they now  have a winning record of 2-1.
 Port Huron has already played their next match,  a  55-46  win against Romeo on the 6th. As for L'Anse Creuse North, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  game,  a  58-48  victory against Rochester on the 7th.
