With a playoff win on the line, Perry Central rose to the challenge on Friday. They secured a 38-32 W over the Tell City Marksmen. This was a revenge game for the Commodores: when they faced off against the Marksmen back in January, they had to take a 53-50 defeat.

Tell City's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Presley Lloyd, who posted eight points. Lloyd is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 11 games she's played. Reese Ford was another key player, putting up ten points and six boards.

The win made it two in a row for Perry Central and bumps their season record up to 14-8. As for Tell City, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season.

Perry Central has already played their next contest, a 52-28 defeat against North Posey on the 8th. Tell City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
