Soccer Recap: Justin-Siena Takes a Loss

Justin-Siena lost against Vintage back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Justin-Siena Braves lost 4-0 to the Vintage Crushers. While losing is never fun, the Braves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1006th, while the Crushers are ranked 191st).

Justin-Siena has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8-1 record this season. As for Vintage, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2-3.

Justin-Siena will challenge Napa at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Napa's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Vintage, they will face off against Petaluma at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Vintage is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.
