Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Avon). They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 52-22 victory over the Oakfield-Alabama/Elba Aggies. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-0.

Kalman Dolgos continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, picking up 104 receiving yards and one touchdown, while also rushing for 94 yards and one TD on only eight carries. Another player making a difference was Evan Blye, who threw for 197 yards and one TD on only 16 passes.

Although Oakfield-Alabama/Elba took the loss, they still got scores from Christian Finkney, Nick Scott, and Jayden Blew.

Avon is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.7 points over those games. As for Oakfield-Alabama/Elba, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
