Bristol put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Lawrence Cardinals with a sharp 13-3 win. Those 13 runs were actually the fewest the Warriors have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Brianna Slack was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off only two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Luciana Snyder was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, three doubles, and two runs. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high. Amirah Bell was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Bristol was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in eight consecutive games dating back to last season.

Bristol's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Lawrence, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Bristol will challenge Delaware County Christian at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Lawrence has already played their next contest (against Steinert), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
