After losing to St. Thomas More the last time they met, Lake Country Lutheran decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Lightning came out on top against the Cavaliers by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

Adeleine Catlin paced Lake Country Lutheran's offense, picking up six kills. Catlin got some help from Grace Luedke and her nine assists. Finally, Catlin was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Lake Country Lutheran's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for St. Thomas More, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Lake Country Lutheran has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Homestead on the 30th. Hopefully St. Thomas More paid attention to the Lightning's contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Lightning at 6:45 p.m. on September 9.
