Football Recap: Lambert/Richey Piles Up the Points Against Bainville

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lambert/Richey). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Bainville Bulldogs 54-26. For the R&L Fusion, this counts as revenge for the 53-20 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Lambert/Richey's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 48.3 points over those games. As for Bainville, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-2 record.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lambert/Richey will face off against rival Savage at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bainville is set to take on their familiar foe Plevna at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
