Soccer Game Preview: Indian Springs vs. Summit

The Indian Springs COYOTES will square off against the Summit SkyHawks at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Summit took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Indian Springs, who comes in off a win.

Summit better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Indian Springs really get things going. Indian Springs never let Redlands onto the board and left with a 4-0 win on Thursday. That's two games straight that the COYOTES have won by exactly four goals.

They hit Redlands with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Anthony Carrasco, Deybi Baca, Julian Moss, and Angel Flores.

Meanwhile, Summit fell victim to Ontario and their airtight defense on Monday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jaguars. The loss was the SkyHawks' first of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Indian Springs and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Summit, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Indian Springs came up short against Summit in their previous matchup back in December of 2021, falling 2-0. Can Indian Springs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
