Basketball Recap: Groesbeck Takes a Loss

Groesbeck was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They fell 43-34 to the Westwood Panthers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Goats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 42-40 back in January.

Groesbeck's loss dropped their record down to 8-21. As for Westwood, their win ended a 14-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-17.

Groesbeck has already played their next game (against Normangee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Westwood will take on Fairfield at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
