Volleyball Recap: Forest Lake Christian's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak at Home

Forest Lake Christian dropped to 12-8 on Tuesday, ending the team's six-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season. They fell just short of the Futures Knights by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

As for Futures, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since October 23, 2024.

Futures' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nikka Vinokurov, who had 56 digs and four assists. Vinokurov is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 16 every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Svetlana Blyshchyk, who had 26 kills, 21 digs, four aces, and one block.
