Softball Recap: Waterloo West Takes a Loss

Waterloo West's last matchup with Western Dubuque could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Wednesday. The Wahawks came up short against the Bobcats, falling 7-0. The Wahawks haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Waterloo West's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Western Dubuque, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bobcats beat Waterloo West by a score of 9-0 later that day.
