Volleyball Game Preview: Northfield Nighthawks vs. Denver South Ravens

An exciting North v. South battle is about to be fought. The Northfield Nighthawks will challenge the Denver South Ravens at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Northfield comes in on six and Denver South on seven.

Northfield picked up another tournament win on Friday. They put the hurt on Vista PEAK Prep with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Northfield walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Denver South made easy work of Denver East on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

While Denver South won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-22, 25-21.

Northfield's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Denver South, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.

Northfield was able to grind out a solid win over Denver South in their previous matchup back in September, winning 3-1. Will the Nighthawks repeat their success, or do the Ravens have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
