Volleyball Recap: Northpoint HomeSchool Comes Up Short

Northpoint HomeSchool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Suburban Christian Crusaders. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-1 defeat last Saturday.

Northpoint HomeSchool took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 23-25, 27-29, 25-18, 15-8.

Northpoint HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Suburban Christian, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northpoint HomeSchool will venture away from home to face off against Indiana Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Suburban Christian, they will head out to challenge Heritage Christian at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
