Basketball Recap: Rochester Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Kole Smith and Colton Weiss

Rochester lost against Tenino back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rochester Warriors came up short against the Tenino Beavers, falling 63-43.

Rochester's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Colton Weiss, who went 5 for 12 en route to 13 points, and Kole Smith, who posted 12 points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave Smith a new career-high in boards.

Rochester dropped their record down to 1-13 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Tenino, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-11.

Rochester will host Hoquiam at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Tenino has already played their next game (against Montesano), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
