Volleyball Recap: Belleview Christian Puts Losing Streak Behind Them + How To Watch

Belleview Christian came into Tuesday's match having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Two Roads Charter School Falcons on Tuesday. The Bruins have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

Belleview Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-23, 25-10, 25-18.

Belleview Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Galilea De Casas led the charge by getting 17 digs and two assists. That's the most assists De Casas has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Harjas Thiara, who had 21 digs and four aces.

Belleview Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in three consecutive contests.

Belleview Christian's record now sits at 4-12. As for Two Roads Charter School, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.
