Basketball Recap: Walpole Falls to Braintree in First Game of Season

Walpole unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They received a blow on Friday as they fell 64-50 to the Braintree Wamps. The defeat continues a trend for the Timberwolves in their matchups with the Wamps: they've now lost three in a row.

The win made it two in a row for Braintree and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Walpole will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Bishop Feehan at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Braintree, they will be home for the holidays to greet Weymouth at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
