Football Game Preview: Legacy Lightning vs. Rangeview Raiders + How To Watch

Legacy has gone a perfect 3-0 against Rangeview recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Lightning will challenge the Raiders at 6:30 p.m.

On Friday, Legacy came up short against Mullen and fell 28-20.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Joey Jewett, who picked up 39 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Legacy also got a significant boost from Chase Combs, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 91 yards.

Even if they lost, Legacy's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Leading the way was Joey Vaughan with two. Another thorn in Mullen's side was Bobby Hyatt, who picked up a sack and made ten total tackles.

Meanwhile, Rangeview hadn't done well against Horizon recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Raiders strolled past the Hawks with points to spare, taking the game 24-7.

Rangeview's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Legacy, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Everything came up roses for Legacy against Rangeview in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 41-3 win. In that contest, the Lightning amassed a halftime lead of 28-3, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
