Basketball Recap: Kennard Takes a Loss

Kennard lost against Martinsville on January 3rd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Kennard Tigers were outmatched by the Martinsville Pirates and fell 76-10.

Kennard has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Martinsville, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kennard has already played their next game (against Wells), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Martinsville will challenge Broaddus at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Broaddus will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Martinsville surely won't give up without a fight.
