Basketball Recap: Mendocino Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mendocino can now relate to. They came up short against the Redding Christian Lions on Wednesday, falling 54-33. The Cardinals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-8.

This is the second loss in a row for Mendocino and nudges their season record down to 18-9. As for Redding Christian, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 28-3.

Mendocino does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Redding Christian, they will take on St. Vincent de Paul at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
