Baseball Recap: Trinity Extends Winning Streak to Five

Trinity never let their opponents score on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the Merrimack Tomahawks. The result was nothing new for the Pioneers, who have now won five games by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Trinity, bringing their record up to 11-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Merrimack, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12-1.
