Softball Recap: Le Sueur-Henderson Has No Trouble Against Minnesota Valley Lutheran

Le Sueur-Henderson got themselves on the board against Minnesota Valley Lutheran on Tuesday, but Minnesota Valley Lutheran never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Chargers. The Giants might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by nine runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Le Sueur-Henderson and bumps their season record up to 5-6. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Minnesota Valley Lutheran, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Le Sueur-Henderson and Minnesota Valley Lutheran could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings. The Giants will face off against Mankato West at 5:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (140 vs. 31). Meanwhile, Minnesota Valley Lutheran (ranked 291st) will meet Cleveland (ranked 94th) at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
