Baseball Recap: Blackstone Valley Prep Comes Up Short

Blackstone Valley Prep lost to Scituate back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The PRIDE took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans. That's two games in a row now that the PRIDE have lost by exactly three runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Blackstone Valley Prep and nudges their season record down to 8-7. As for Scituate, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Coming up, Blackstone Valley Prep will face off against North Smithfield at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Scituate, they will challenge Mt. Pleasant at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Spartans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Kilties have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season.
