Softball Recap: Bradenton Christian Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Bradenton Christian challenged Inspiration Academy on Monday. The Panthers lost 11-2 to the Lions. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Bradenton Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brenna Funderburke, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Bradenton Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Inspiration Academy, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-4.

Coming up, Bradenton Christian is taking a road trip to challenge Canterbury at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th. The Panthers are facing the Crusaders at the right time seeing as the Crusaders are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Inspiration Academy, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-5 victory against Academy of the Holy Names on the 8th.
